2 Chapter/ Namaste Manija :) english

Namaste Maniya

Even before I took a breath of Nepalese air or even touched the ground , I had the  pleasure to enjoy one of the amazing views I didn’t had for a long time, the Mount Everest in the sun down. I was so lucky because I got a 25 min extra round with the air plane over Kathmandu valley, we couldn’t land because a gang of apes where taking over the roll field, so I had a sightseeing turn for free !

My first experience in my disco taxi to my Homestay was that I found out that traffic lights are not necessary at all so they are just not existing in the Capital city of Nepal^^, It wouldn’t make sense anyway because the power will be always gone so it would just be a waste of money I guess.

My Host Family and Didi

Super friendly, sweet and open! In Germany we would probably say the house is still not finished, but I can just say it has an amazing charming rustically flair 😉 In a sudden I’m a member of the family and off course I directly get my Nepalese name “Mania”, it means the sweetness, friendliness, the small sister and the loving one. In this case I call my family now anti, unkle, bajei and brother, but my host brother is also really named brother^^

The nicest barking welcome, is definitely given every day again by „Didi“ the house dog, translated it is sister but we call him angel, she is the protector of the house and the friendliest and best character on the world. I would think the same if she would stop barking at me and looking like she wants to eat me every minute^^

In total by now I’m completely amazed and happy, if I would have expect something, it went over my expectations! Unkle explained me already with a broken cute English the whole Sanskrit (He is a Master Hindu Yoga teacher), in 5hours. From tomorrow on I will have yoga lessons every second day on our roof top at 4 a clock in the morning and an explanation about the right life off course 😉

Already by now I can say that I fall a little bit in love with Nepal and Nepalese people, it’s hard to catch all the new things that are coming in Seconds and minutes, that’s definitely how it feels like, I don’t have the time to catch them as quickly as they pop up. This will take a little bit more time I guess and never stop.

Namaste and dondebad my lovely people J
