Of to the summit of the heaven, captain chaos on tour again 🙂

So now the time is there kick off to the crown of the world! Of to Nepal, actually Nepal was never on my travel list or maybe it was never really in my focus before, for my next destination I had Madagascar in my head or Mexico. Now I don’t really know what will come up it will be completely different to the travels I made before, I don’t really know what to expect, normally at least I have a small clou of it.

Nepal is also called the crown of the world, 8 from 10 highest Mountains of the world are located here and they are still growing, including the Mount Everest (my mission for this journey ;)). The country is half as big as Germany, but the most of it are Mountain areas, so it should be possible to make it to the whole country in 6 Month, I hope so.

My first stop will be Kathmandu, the capital city, here is also my company office located, the Ngo KEEP Nepal, so I guess the most of the time I will have my main point of life down in the city. By know I don’t really have many Information’s about everything just the main points, me and the company are really chilled and relaxed with the contact, so I’m really curious about what will wait for me in two days J

Auf in den Saum des  Himmels, Kapitän chaos on tour again 😉

Jetzt ist es soweit es geht los zur Krone der Welt! Nepal stand nie auf meiner Reiseliste, oder eher gesagt es war nie wirklich in meinem Blickfeld vorher, ich dachte da eher an Madagaskar oder Mexico als nächstes großes Reiseziel. Dementsprechend weis ich momentan noch überhaupt nicht was mich erwartet, eine völlig fremde Welt kommt auf mich zu, Kultur, Bräuche, Menschen, Landschaft einfach alles. Es geht zur Krone der Welt.

Nepal wird auch die Krone der Welt genannt oder der Saum des Himmels da 8 der 10 der höchsten Berge der Welt  hier beheimatet sind und sie wachsen immer noch weiter in die Höhe, inklusive dem Mount Everest (meine Mission : ihn zum Ende hin zumindest ansatzweise zu erklimmen). Das Land ist ca. halb so groß wie Deutschland, besteht aber zum größten Teil aus Gebirgsterrain.  Bei der Größe sollte es mir vielleicht sogar möglich sein das Land komplett zu bereisen , immerhin habe ich ein halbes Jahr Zeit, wenn man davon absieht das ich vielleicht auch noch ein bisschen arbeite zwischendurch^^

Mein erstes Ziel ist Kathmandu die Hauptstadt, hier liegt auch das Office der Organisation  KEEP Nepal bei der ich mein Praktikum machen werde. So ganz genau ist mir noch nicht klar was und wie genau das alles von statten gehen wird aber das lasse ich erst einmal ganz entspannt auf mich zukommen J ab übermorgen weis ich dann hoffentlich mehr.
